Hawaii Fake Fake Drivers license & Hawaii Fake ID

Hawaii Fake ID driver’s licenses and state fake ID cards will be accepted to get on a domestic airline flight and to enter certain federal buildings and military bases. A United States Passport or military Fake ID can be used as an alternate identification for these purposes.

On January 16, 2018, the City and County of Honolulu began issuing new and renewed fake driver’s licenses and state fake IDs bearing a star marking that indicates full compliance with new Department of Homeland Security guidelines. 

Federal and state law allows you to have only ONE Fake ID-compliant card. You may not have both. Residents must choose either a compliant fake driver’s license or state ID. Licenses and state fake ID cards already issued will remain valid through their expiration date.

When acquiring or renewing a driver’s license or state ID card, residents must indicate on the application whether the card will be federal compliant REAL ID. There is no additional fee for the star marking.

Should a Hawaii Fake ID , fake driver’s license or state ID not scan properly at a TSA checkpoint, residents may replace it at no cost to the cardholder.

Every person traveling domestically on a commercial airline will need to present a REAL ID compliant credential or another acceptable form of identification by October 1, 2020 pursuant to the REAL ID Act, which was passed by Congress in 2005. This law enacted a recommendation from the 9/11 Commission and established minimum security standards for state-issued fake driver licenses and identification cards. The Act further prohibited federal agencies, including the TSA, from accepting state-issued driver licenses or identification cards that do not meet the minimum standards.

The “star in a gold circle” on a Hawaii fake driver’s license or identification card indicates the credential is REAL ID compliant. If people want to continue using their driver’s license for Federal purposes, such as boarding a commercial aircraft after the deadline, it must have the “star in a gold circle.”

“We want people to know there is about a year remaining until the federal deadline to update your identification. While there is time, we don’t want people to wait until the last minute,” said Director Jade Butay, Hawaii Department of Transportation. “People should also be aware the fake driver’s license is not their only option. There are various other acceptable identifications that will work to allow you on a plane.”

  • Let the concierge at the DMV know that the fake driver’s license did not properly scan at the TSA checkpoint
  • Turn in the defective fake driver’s license and, in turn, get a duplicate replacement

A temporary card or document issued when applying for or renewing a Hawaii fake driver’s license is NOT accepted by federal purposes or when traveling. The permanent plastic card can take 4-5 weeks to arrive in the mail, so plan accordingly.

In Hawaii, there are different types of acceptable identification documents you can use when you’re applying for your HI fake driver’s license.

Acceptable Documentation for Legal Presence in the U.S., Legal Name, and Date of Birth

U.S. Citizen

• U.S. state or local government-issued Certificate of Birth or Record of Birth
  • Hawaii does NOT accept any Puerto Rico birth certificate before July 1, 2010.
• U.S. passport or passport card
• U.S. state or local government issued Consular Report of Birth Abroad
• Certificate of Citizenship (N-560 or N-561)
• Certificate of Naturalization (N-550 or N-570)

Non-U.S. Citizen

• DOJ/ INS I-551 Resident Alien Card issued since 1977
• DHS/USCIS I-797 with expired PRC
• DHS/USCIS I-688 Temporary Resident Card
• DHS/USCIS I-766 Employment Authorization Document (EAD) issued since 2004

FAS Citizen

(The Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of Palau)

• Unexpired FAS national passport and an approved I-94 form

Acceptable Documents for Your Social Security Number (SSN)

• Social Security card (must be the original card. Plastic or metal cards are NOT accepted.)
• W-2 Form from the previous year
• SSA-1099 Form from the previous year
• Pay stub with your name

Acceptable Documents for Proof of Hawaii Residence

• Valid driver’s license
• Current vehicle title or registration
• Valid insurance statement or card (homeowner’s medical, auto, etc.)
• Current real property tax assessment form
• Utility bill (no older than 2 months)
• Payroll check or payroll check stub issued by an employer (no more than 6 months old)
