South Dakota Fake driver’s license requirements
You MUST return to South Dakota IN PERSON since you are a PMB holder and not a year-round resident actually present in the state. If you have a hotel, motel or campground receipt that is LESS than a year old at the time you are renewing, then you may mail that in along with the other “online” requirements, and do not have to be present in the state at the exact time you are renewing. However, you CANNOT stay away from South Dakota for 10 years and utilize online renewal in the interim.
Identity Documents to prove identity, date of birth, and lawful status is considered to be one of the following:
- Certified U.S. birth certificate issued by State or County (hospital birth certificates are not acceptable)
- Valid unexpired U.S. passport
- Certificate of Naturalization
- Certificate of Citizenship
- Valid unexpired permanent resident card
- Valid unexpired employment authorization document
- Foreign passport with valid unexpired U.S. Visa
- To be eligible for a South Dakota fake drivers license, you must have a physical residential address located in South Dakota, live full time in an RV/camper, or travel full time for work (for example, traveling nurse or truck driver).
- If you use a mail forwarding service, you will be required to complete a residency affidavit (this .pdf form will be moved to your Downloads folder when you click on it — look for it there!) including a perjury statement indicating the answers you provide on the form are true and correct.
Driver’s License and ID Card Renewal/Replacement/Upgrade
If you are a US citizen or permanent resident and have a valid South Dakota fake Drivers license (or expired less than 30 days), you are eligible to:
- Renew a South Dakota Fake license or South Dakota Fake ID card online once every 10 years (every other renewal). The license or South Dakota Fake ID must be within 180 days of expiration, or if turning 21, must be within 60 days after your 21st birthday. Those 65 or older must submit a Vision Statement form to renew a driver’s license online. Need a link to the Vision Statement
- Request a duplicate license or South Dakota Fake ID online once every renewal period. A duplicate can be requested to replace a lost card or to update an address (name changes must be done in person at a driver exam station).
- Upgrade from a Restricted Minor’s Permit to a full SD fake driver’s license.
